How to increase TEXT size! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Noah Bragg

One of the many requests for the website is "Make the Text larger."  I understand where you are coming from.  Unfortunately after so many enlargements, the text, formatting and layout becomes unreadable.  So I've made this article to help you and others out in resolving this issue on your own!  Without making changes to the website itself.

Most web browsers today have the ability to enlarge text on their own.  I will go over how to do this on Internet Explorer and Firefox.  If you are viewing this website with another browser please let me know so I can make additions to this article.  These may not be exact depending on which version of each browser you are using.

FireFox

1. Locate the "View" Pulldown menu.

2. Scroll down the "View"pulldown menu and select "Zoom"

3.  You should see a few Zoom options. "Zoom In" will magnify (make larger) the entire website, not just the text. "Zoom Out" will shrink the entire website.  "Zoom Text Only" will enlarge the text on the website. You may have to select the option of choice more than once becuase each option only increases the sizes in small increments.  Just repeat until you are happy with the Zoom level.  When you're done you can choose "Reset" under the same menu section to make everything normal again.

Internet Explorer

1. If you have not done so already, make sure you have updated your Internet Explorer.  Internet Explorer is now on version 8.

2. Look for the "Page" pulldown menu.  Depending on which version you are using, this pulldown menu can also be called "View"

3. Select it and scroll down to two options: "Zoom" enlarges the entire website, not just the text.  "Text Size" will adjust how large the text is on the website.

If this did not resolve your text issues, please let the webmasters know.

There's a pick-up ride this Sunday, May 24 for the  nationwide annual "Ride To The Wall".  The last few years we've had  over 75 bikes and this year we're hoping to break the century mark!  We'll  be leaving from in front of Waugh H-D at 6:00 am.  The group will be  in Opal VA, passing through the Quarles gas station at 6:45 to  pick up additional riders (very short stop).
